Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Antti Meijeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Weston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Weston!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meijeri tries a head kick but it misses.
Weston tests Meijeri's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Meijeri misses with a straight right.
Meijeri tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Weston misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Meijeri throws a series of punches but Weston moves out of range.
Meijeri looks to land a right hand but Weston moved out of range.
Weston uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Meijeri.
Weston has closed the distance and engaged Meijeri in a clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Weston.
Weston lands a right hand.
Meijeri with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Weston lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Meijeri backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Weston lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Meijeri or not.
Weston lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Meijeri misses with a knee strike.
Weston doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Our sources have told us that Meijeri has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Meijeri using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Weston has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Meijeri blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.
Weston has a couple of punches blocked by Meijeri.
Meijeri with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Meijeri.
Weston pushes Meijeri back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Weston lands a right hand.
Meijeri lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Weston creates a bit of distance and cracks Meijeri with a big uppercut! Meijeri goes down! The referee pushes Weston away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Meijeri make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Weston takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Matt Weston!
