Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Addison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Luther!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Addison throws a chopping leg kick but Luther manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Addison dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Addison misses with a low kick.
Luther lands a nice hook to Addison's body. Addison takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Luther misses with a kick to the body.
Addison misses with a looping left.
Luther throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Luther moves away from the strike by Addison.
A looping hook to the body misses from Luther. Addison does a little dance to reset his feet.
Addison throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Luther cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like Mark Addison has been cut.
Luther throws a leg kick
and Addison cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Addison buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Luther swats away the attempt to clinch by Addison.
Luther moves out of range of the body kick from Addison.
Luther sizes up Addison with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Addison just misses with a punch to the body.
Luther thuds a left hand into Addison's body.

Luther throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Addison stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Addison tries to clinch but Luther is having none of it.

Addison closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Addison looks for the body kick but Luther saw that one coming.
Addison thows a left - swing and a miss!
Addison scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Luther doesn't seem bothered though.

Addison drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Luther onto his butt! Luther pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.


Luther is rocked!


It looks like John Luther has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Luther misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Luther thuds a left hand into Addison's body.
Addison fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Luther connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Addison walks into a left hand.

Addison gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Addison misses with a punch on the inside.
Luther lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Luther misses with a punch on the inside.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Luther throws an elbow but misses.
Luther unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Addison tries a knee to the head but Luther blocks it.
Luther blocks a punch to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Addison should take that round, based on the knockdown.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Luther sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Luther lands with a right to the head.
Addison tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Luther blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Luther fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Luther creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Addison off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Addison is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Luther is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). John Luther!
