The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis wants to slow Segal down by chopping away at his legs.

The fighters circle momentarily. Segal darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lewis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Segal, pushing him back against the cage.

Lewis catches Segal with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

I was talking to Segal's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

and Lewis counters with a huge left! Segal is in big trouble! He's backing up but Lewis isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Segal from any more damage. A dominating finish by Lewis!
