The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brawl sprawls well. Brawl wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Head gets slowly back to his feet.
Head shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brawl defends it nicely.

Brawl closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Brawl lands with a left to the head.
A right hand to the body from Brawl.
Brawl lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Head backwards.
Head could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Head is breathing heavily.
Brawl lands with a left to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brawl prevents Head from breaking the clinch.
Brawl cracks Head with a nice body shot.

Brawl pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brawl scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sprawl Brawl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Head takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Brawl clinches up against the cage.
Brawl lands a hook that snaps the head of Head backwards.

It looks like Nestor Head has been cut.
Brawl creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Head with a big uppercut! Head tries to clinch up but Brawl pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Head to the mat! Head covers up and Brawl unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
