Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Kosaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liam Oliver is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keiji Kosaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Liam Oliver!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver dives in and grabs Kosaka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kosaka pushes down on Oliver's head and hops out.
Oliver misses with a double jab.
Kosaka swings for the body but Oliver moves out of range.
Kosaka throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Horrible takedown attempt by Kosaka or perhaps it was just good defense by Oliver, which made it look bad.

Oliver tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kosaka swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Oliver shoots for a double leg takedown but Kosaka sprawls well. He's pushed Oliver's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kosaka's jab looks to have found its range, popping Oliver under the eye.

Kosaka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kosaka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Oliver is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kosaka has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Oliver pushes Kosaka away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kosaka gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Kosaka cracks Oliver's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Oliver slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Kosaka can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keiji Kosaka!
In defeat, Liam Oliver stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thank you all... I'll be back, and come back better and show you all what I have!!'.
