The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papaioanou throws a body shot but no joy.
Trapp takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Trapp takes the fight into the clinch.
Trapp throws a punch but it's blocked by Papaioanou.
Trapp's coach down at Warrior Dogs was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Trapp's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Trapp tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Papaioanou's elbow.

Trapp breaks the clinch.
Lefteris Papaioanou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Papaioanou throws a left that rocks Trapp and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Papaioanou dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Trapp regain composure!

It looks like Norman Trapp has been cut.

Papaioanou in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Trapp is still in real trouble! Can Papaioanou finish him?
Papaioanou tries to move to mount but Trapp blocks the move with his legs.
Papaioanou is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Trapp will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Trapp seems to have recovered his senses.

Trapp is trying to control Papaioanou's posture but Papaioanou avoids it.

Papaioanou definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Papaioanou tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Papaioanou working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Trapp struggling a bit here.
Papaioanou is looking to take a break and control but Trapp is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Papaioanou throws a series of punches but Trapp avoids them all with ease.
Papaioanou checks the leg kick nicely there.
Trapp misses with a looping left.
Trapp feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Papaioanou's calf.

Papaioanou scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Trapp doesn't seem bothered though.

and Trapp holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Papaioanou lands a nice uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Trapp.

Trapp keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Papaioanou's efforts to push away.
Papaioanou tries to break the clinch but Trapp is controlling the position.
Papaioanou blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Papaioanou tries to circle away but Trapp has him pinned against the cage.

Trapp manages to break the clinch.
Papaioanou lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Trapp can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Papaioanou and Trapp drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Papaioanou.
