Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Knope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Burgundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron Burgundy!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Topper Green and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burgundy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Burgundy moves out of range as Knope strikes.
Burgundy connects with a body shot.
Knope throws a leg kick which misses Burgundy's front leg but catches the back leg as Burgundy tries to avoid it.
Knope takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Burgundy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Knope looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Burgundy misses with a hook.
It looked like Knope was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Burgundy.
Burgundy cracks the inside of Knope's front leg.
Knope misses with an uppercut. Burgundy saw that one coming.
Burgundy gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Ron Burgundy has been cut.
Burgundy misses the shot to the body.
Jab, jab by Knope - just one landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knope moves out of range as Burgundy strikes.
Knope rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Burgundy counter with a right hand.
Knope just misses with a punch to the body.
Knope scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burgundy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Burgundy.
Burgundy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knope was well out of range. Poor timing from Burgundy.
A nice leg kick lands there from Burgundy.
The crowd cheers as Knope lands an impressive looking overhand right. Burgundy doesn't seem phased though.

That has opened up Ron Burgundy's cut even more.

Good standup being displayed there by Knope as he connects with a hook.
Burgundy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Knope.

Knope drops his shoulder and cracks Burgundy with a huge uppercut! Burgundy goes down! Can Knope finish him?

Burgundy is rocked!

The cut above Ron Burgundy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knope throwing strikes from guard but Burgundy blocks nicely.
Burgundy is still in real trouble! Can Knope finish him?
Burgundy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Knope postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Burgundy seems to have recovered his senses.
Knope trying to control but Burgundy is working from the bottom.

Knope distracts Burgundy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Ron Burgundy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ron Burgundy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
