Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marku Hunto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunto has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunto misses with a double jab.
Christian shoots in but no luck this time.

Christian shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hunto's guard.

Christian gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Hunto is breathing heavily.
Christian is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hunto sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Christian tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hunto swivels and escapes.

Christian darts in and clinches Hunto up against the cage.
Hunto tries to throw a body punch but Christian avoids it by throwing Hunto back against the cage.

Christian has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hunto regains guard immediately.

Christian cracks Hunto with a solid left hand.

Christian drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Christian jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hunto has momentary wrist control but Christian slips an elbow through the middle.
Hunto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Christian controls the pace.

Christian decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hunto, up you get!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Christian fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hunto is defending against the submission attempts here by Christian.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Christian is working for a kimura but Hunto is defending it quite comfortably.

Christian shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hunto is trying to defend but Christian finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
