Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saul Goodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Percy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Saul Goodman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Saul Goodman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Percy is looking to clinch.
Goodman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Percy to the ground. Goodman is now in Percy's guard.
Goodman wants to control from the top but Percy keeps moving.
Goodman has gone for a leg lock! Percy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Goodman's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Percy wanted to stand there but Goodman had control of the position.

Percy has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Goodman is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Goodman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Percy can do anything to dispel that myth.
Percy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Goodman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Percy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Percy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Percy!
Percy tries to stand but Goodman is controlling his head.

Goodman is pushing Percy's head away, looking to escape. Percy manages to hold on to the position though.

Goodman is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Percy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Percy decides to stand up, so the ref orders Goodman to his feet.
Percy throws a chopping leg kick but Goodman manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Goodman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Percy can do to turn this around?
No joy there for Goodman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Goodman is rocked!
Percy plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Goodman swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Goodman face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
