The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilgore ducks under a wild hook from Ortiz.
Ortiz throws the left hand but Kilgore avoids the punch easily.

and Ortiz counters with a nice uppercut.
Ortiz throws a good cross that connects.
Ortiz misses with a lunging right hand
and Kilgore counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ortiz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ortiz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Kilgore steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ortiz.

Ortiz connects with a combination that backs up Kilgore into the cage. Ortiz lands a flurry of punches that gets past Kilgore's guard. Kilgore is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Ortiz bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
