Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johny Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holy Diver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diver has chosen Holy Diver by Dio as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johny Baker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Holy Diver!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker closes the distance and clinches.
Diver goes for a takedown in the clinch but Baker prevents it.
Diver is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Baker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Diver tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Johny Baker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Holy Diver.

Diver has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Baker clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Baker is trying to break free.
Good control from Diver.
Diver misses with a punch to the head.
Diver is looking to control Baker but Baker is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Baker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diver on the ground.
Diver is landing with strikes. Baker can't take much more of this.
Baker can't escape the position.
Diver struggling to keep hold of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Diver is working for a rear naked choke. Baker is not defending it well and Diver has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Baker refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Baker's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Holy Diver!
A relieved looking Holy Diver thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
