Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Amir Soulah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicola Bruni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Soulah there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Soulah misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bruni counters with a right hand to the body.
Bruni tries to close the distance and clinch up but Soulah swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bruni takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice body kick from Soulah.
Soulah closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A nice inside leg kick there by Soulah. That's going to slow Bruni down.
Bruni rushes Soulah and presses him up against the cage.

Soulah has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bruni creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bruni lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Soulah goes down! The ref sends Bruni to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Soulah is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Oh Soulah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Still in the clinch, Bruni scores with a nice short uppercut.

Will Soulah make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Bruni takes it!
