Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aydine Antona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antona comes to the cage accompanied by Laid to Rest by Lamb of God. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: Cliff Richard - Summer Holiday. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antona lands a jab to the nose.
A nice inside leg kick there by Antona. That's going to slow Gracie down.
Antona lands a leg kick that knocks Gracie off balance momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Antona. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.

Antona has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Gracie moves away from the strike by Antona.

Antona throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Gracie throws the left hand but Antona avoids the punch easily.
Antona lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Antona throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease.
Horrible takedown attempt by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Antona, which made it look bad.

Antona loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch.
An inside leg kick lands from Antona.
Antona uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gracie.
Antona slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Antona throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Gracie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Antona throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Antona swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gracie takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Antona sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Aydine Antona has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffson Gracie.

Antona misses with a lunging right hand

Antona throws a combination. Gracie tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

and Gracie counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Gracie throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Antonas head.

Antona throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Antona changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Antona is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around?

Gracie goes for a double leg but Antona avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Antona continues to drive forward.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gracie checks a leg kick.
Antona walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Gracie checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Aydine Antona is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Gracie counters with a left right combination that sends Antona crashing to the mat - Gracie wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Antona out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
