Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dick Schroeder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Pim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonas Pim acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dick Schroeder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pim throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pim misses with a few strikes there.

Pim swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Schroeder counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pim won't be happy with that.
Schroeder misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Pim manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Schroeder thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Schroeder stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Pim looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Pim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Schroeder doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Schroeder manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

It looks like Dick Schroeder has been cut.
Schroeder takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Pim takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Pim swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Schroeder.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pim missing with a left hand there. Schroeder was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Schroeder really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No joy there for Pim, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Schroeder holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Pim looks winded!
Pim wants to get back to striking at distance but Schroeder won't allow it.
Pim wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Schroeder has him pressed against the cage.

Schroeder's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pim throws a right and a left that both miss.
Schroeder misses the body punch
and Pim counters with a left and a right that stings Schroeder.
Pim tries to bum rush Schroeder with a series of wild strikes but Schroeder uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pim scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Oh Schroeder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Schroeder pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Schroeder instigates a clinch.
Pim wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Schroeder seems to have got his legs back now.

Schroeder is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Pim can't fight it off and eventually Schroeder manages to take the fight to the floor. Pim looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Schroeder gets to his feet. Pim looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Pim misses with a double jab.
Pim avoids the body shot from Schroeder.
Pim throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch combination from Pim misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pim crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Schroeder - the referee stops the clock and Pim gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Schroeder. Pim manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Schroeder throws a head kick that misses.
Pim throws a right hand that Schroeder ducks under and follows up with a left that Schroeder also avoids with ease.

Schroeder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Schroeder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Schroeder wanted to stand there but Pim had control of the position.

Pim had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Schroeder defends it easily.
Schroeder lands a couple of digs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jonas Pim will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Schroeder drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Schroeder chips away with some ground and pound.
Schroeder loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Schroeder wants to stand but Pim is controlling his posture from full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pim has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Schroeder should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Pim has tightened it up now! Schroeder should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Jonas Pim decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
