Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Hanlon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boca Naga!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Hanlon misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hanlon.
Hanlon throws a nice looking combination but Naga bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Naga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Naga wants it to stay on the feet.
Naga looks to throw the jab but Hanlon is out of range.
Hanlon falls off balance throwing a combination
and Naga counters with a left to the body.
Naga scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.


It looks like Mark Hanlon has been cut.
Naga throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hanlon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Naga misses with a wild body shot.
Hanlon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Naga circles away quickly and effectively.
Hanlon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Naga.
Hanlon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Naga connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hanlon. Hanlon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hanlon throws a right and a left that Naga avoids nicely.
Naga throws a shot to the body.
Hanlon has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight.

Naga shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hanlon's guard.
Naga seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Naga wants to pass the guard but Hanlon is keeping the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Naga slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hanlon takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Naga working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Naga tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Naga sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hanlon is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Naga is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hanlon is trying to escape and Naga transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hanlon is forced to tap! Nice work there by Naga! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Boca Naga!
