Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Danko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peters kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is COBRA!. Stan Danko will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peters takes a jab right on the kisser.
Danko moves into range and connects with a jab.
Danko stuffs the takedown attempt from Peters. Peters gets slowly back to his feet.

Peters takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jason Peters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Peters or perhaps it was just good defense by Danko, which made it look bad.

Danko connects with a good right hand that stumbles Peters. Peters circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Danko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Peters shoots in looking for a takedown. Danko tries to sprawl out of it but Peters keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Danko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Danko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Peters fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Danko avoids it really well and circles away.
Danko lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Danko slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Danko fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Danko leaves Peters with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd cheers as Danko lands an impressive looking overhand right. Peters doesn't seem phased though.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Danko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Danko is not content to let Peters control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Stan Danko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Danko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Danko wants it to stay on the feet.

Danko stuffs the takedown attempt from Peters. Peters gets slowly back to his feet.
A jab from Danko does it's job there.
Oh Peters is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Danko lands a jab to Peters's midsection.
Peters seems to have got his legs back now.

Danko tries to sprawl but Peters drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Peters is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Danko is looking to control Peters's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Danko avoid being mounted?
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Danko is not content to let Peters control the position.

Danko throws a nice outside leg kick.
Peters shoots in looking for a takedown but Danko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Peters's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Peters shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Danko but Danko pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Peters is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Danko sees it coming and defends easily.
Stan Danko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Danko wants to improve his position but Peters is controlling well.
Peters looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Danko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Danko is looking for a sweep. Peters is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jason Peters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Peters thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Danko's head.

Peters seems to be looking for submissions.
Danko wants to improve his position but Peters is controlling well.

Stan Danko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Danko winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
