Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Outhouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wanted Dead or Alive. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Outhouse looks to land a right hand but Burns moved out of range.
Outhouse connects with a body shot that sends Burns's belly button to the back.
Burns takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Outhouse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burns moves away.
Outhouse throws an overhand right that lands on Burns's shoulder, as Burns tries to avoid the shot.
Burns throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Outhouse on the side of the head.

A slapping body kick lands there for Burns.
Outhouse is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Burns.
Outhouse will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've been informed that Outhouse has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Burns is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Outhouse crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Burns - the referee stops the clock and Outhouse gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Burns. Outhouse manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Outhouse might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Burns has got the better of the exchanges.

Burns drops Outhouse with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Outhouse looks back up at him and smiles so Burns waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Outhouse lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burns circles away quickly and effectively.
Burns is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Burns counters with a crisp right hand that drops Outhouse! Burns lets Outhouse back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Outhouse is rocked!
Burns finds Outhouse's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Outhouse flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Burns lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Outhouse will be OK.
