Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Cullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Kuznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuznetsov has chosen National Anthem of Russia as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexei Kuznetsov!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cullen catches Kuznetsov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cullen dodges the punch combination from Kuznetsov.
Cullen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kuznetsov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cullen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Cullen counters with a stiff right hand.
Kuznetsov looks to throw the jab but Cullen is out of range.

Cullen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kuznetsov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Cullen counters with a single leg into guard. Kuznetsov didn't expect that.
Kuznetsov looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cullen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Cullen passes Kuznetsov's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Cullen works his way into side control.
Kuznetsov regains half guard, as Cullen was trying to land strikes.
Cullen wants to control but Kuznetsov is keeping him busy.

Cullen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kuznetsov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cullen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cullen wants to finish this one by submission but Kuznetsov is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cullen.
Cullen throwing strikes here but Kuznetsov is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Kuznetsov wants to hold on but Cullen pushes him away.

Cullen wants to control the pace but Kuznetsov is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cullen with shots to the head and body - Kuznetsov looks very uncomfortable down there.
Cullen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kuznetsov is looking to escape.

Cullen has control of Kuznetsov's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kuznetsov regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cullen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Poor strikes thrown by Cullen there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuznetsov is squirming around, avoiding Cullen's attempts to control the action.
Cullen looking to finish Kuznetsov with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kuznetsov!

Cullen has isolated one of Kuznetsov's arms. Kuznetsov looking to fight him off but Cullen twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
