Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Merryweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudolph Adolpho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Merryweather's entrance music is Sabaton - Carolus Rex. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merryweather stuffs the takedown attempt from Adolpho. Adolpho gets slowly back to his feet.

Merryweather creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Adolpho sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Merryweather has hold of Adolpho's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Adolpho manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Adolpho turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Adolpho manages to end up in side control.

Merryweather has gone for a leg lock! Adolpho slips out almost immediately though and dives into Merryweather's guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Merryweather is looking to cinch up a triangle. Adolpho throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Merryweather's body to avoid the submission. Merryweather has instead reached around Adolpho's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Merryweather arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
