Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takeya Sanada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Puna Wai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanada comes to the cage accompanied by zetsubou billy by maximum the hormone. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Puna Wai!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wai has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sanada finds it's way round the side to connect with Wai's head.
Sanada misses with the combination.
Sanada throws a leg kick but Wai moved away.
Sanada throws a chopping leg kick but Wai manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Some wild striking there from Sanada.
Sanada misses with a low kick.
Wai shoots in and drives through. Sanada sprawls well.
Sanada thuds a left hand into Wai's body.
Sanada looks to score with a jab to the body but Wai is just out of range.
Sanada misses with a wild combination.
Sanada wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sanada does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sanada just misses with a punch to the body.
Sanada dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sanada lands a glancing blow to the side of Wai's head.
Sanada has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD-Guts & Glory Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Wai misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wai walks into a jab.
Sanada lands a hook that stumbles Wai back into the cage. Sanada follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Wai to the canvas! Sanada pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Wai has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
