Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patty Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Patterson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Faint - Hospital. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith throws a series of punches but Patterson moves out of range.
Smith throws a right and a left that both miss.
Smith looks to throw the jab but Patterson is out of range.
Smith throws a head kick but Patterson moves out of range.
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Patterson circles away quickly and effectively.
Patterson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Patterson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Smith keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Patterson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Smith does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Patterson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Patterson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Smith tries to kick Patterson off but Patterson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Patterson is controlling the pace.
Patterson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Patterson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Patterson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Patterson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Smith, who protects the arm well.

Patterson prevents Smith from escaping the position.

Patterson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smith has escaped the position, nice work there.
Patterson is looking to take a break and control but Smith is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Patterson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Patterson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Smith knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Patterson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working.
Smith is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Patterson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Patterson has an Americana. Smith didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Patterson is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Patterson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
