Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Sanchez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Soderberg takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Sanchez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Soderberg checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Sanchez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Soderberg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanchez tries to avoid it but Soderberg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanchez to the ground. Sanchez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sanchez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Soderberg has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
