The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey cracks Eel with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Dempsey fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Some wild striking there from Dempsey.
Dempsey misses with a low kick.
Dempsey scores with a sloppy right hand. Eel should have avoided that one.
Eel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dempsey does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Good work by Eel as he checks the leg kick.
Eel needs to keep his hands up - Dempsey had a free shot at his head there.
Dempsey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dempsey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Eel is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dempsey fakes the body blow, causing Eel to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Eel goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
