The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson avoids the head kick by Medvedev.
Wilson blocks a head kick by Medvedev.
Wilson looks to score with a jab to the body but Medvedev is just out of range.
Medvedev lands a big head kick that sends Wilson tumbling to the mat! Medvedev takes a step backwards and waves Wilson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wilson is rocked!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Medvedev.
Oh Wilson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Medvedev lands a nice looking body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A nice leg kick lands there from Medvedev.
Medvedev fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wilson.
Wilson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Medvedev! Wilson is out on his feet! Medvedev rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Wilson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Wilson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nikolai Medvedev!
