Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeramy Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Delph Brass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delph Brass has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeramy Rich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Delph Brass!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brass throws a sloppy head kick
and Rich counters with a nice kick to the body.
Rich fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Brass clinches.
Brass is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rich is defending well for now.

Brass manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Brass is pulling down on Rich's head to control his posture.
Brass working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rich.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rich is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rich throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Brass looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rich is one step ahead there.
Rich wants to control from the top but Brass keeps moving.
Brass utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rich postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Brass shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rich's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brass showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Rich looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brass is one step ahead there.

Rich keeping full guard, as Brass tries to pass.
Brass stopping the sweep attempt from Rich.
Brass wants to control from the top but Rich keeps moving.
Rich wants to improve his position but instead Brass has moved into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brass throwing shots but Rich is blocking nicely.
Brass not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Brass is working for a kimura but Rich is defending it quite comfortably.
Brass wants to control but Rich is keeping him busy.
Rich wants to get back to his feet.
Rich wants to improve his position but Brass is controlling well.
Brass not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Brass lands a jab to the head.

Brass feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brass drops back looking for a leg! Rich is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rich manages to kick Brass off! Brass jumps back into Rich's guard.
Brass is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rich wants to sweep but no luck.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rich can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brass controls the pace.
Rich keeping moving, preventing Brass from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Delph Brass dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Rich shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brass as he jumps to the side.

Brass looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Rich throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Brass escapes and throws Rich's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Brass decides to stand back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brass fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Brass forces Rich back against the cage and clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Brass has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rich uses from the top position.
Delph Brass has got the better of the ground game so far.

Rich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brass has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rich has managed to get both his arms back between Brass's legs - danger averted.
Brass is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rich wants to control from the top but Brass keeps moving.

Brass looking for subs off his back but Rich has passed one foot through into half guard.

Rich is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Brass gets full guard.

Brass working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rich doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rich manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Brass preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Brass wants to sweep but no luck.

Brass lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Brass is looking to stand up but Rich won't let him.
Brass prevents Rich from getting back to his feet.
Brass won't allow Rich to sweep him here.
Brass pushes down on Rich's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Brass perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Rich works his way to full guard. Good work.

Brass decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rich, up you get!

Brass shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Brass is breathing heavily.

Brass decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Delph Brass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brass gets a clinch.
Rich wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Brass stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Brass unloads a knee to the mid-section. Rich lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Brass drags the fight down to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brass wants to stand but Rich is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Delph Brass showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Brass drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Brass is defending against the submission attempts here by Rich.
Brass wants to improve his position but Rich is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brass has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rich is working away from the top position though.

Brass might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rich haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Brass wants to get back to full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Brass takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Brass is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Brass closes the distance and clinches.

Rich breaks the clinch.
Brass displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rich.

Brass looking to score a takedown here. Rich is defending well but Brass drives through and ends up in Rich's guard.
Rich can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brass controls the pace.
Rich tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Brass trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Rich is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brass is aware though and is defending well.

Delph Brass comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brass has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
