The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross swings for the body but Nelson moves out of range.
Nelson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sloppy strikes from Cross. Those never looked like landing.
Cross fails to land with a series of punches.
Cross lands a glancing blow to the side of Nelson's head.

It looks like Mark Nelson has been cut.

Cross catches Nelson napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Nelson to the canvas!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nelson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cross is one step ahead there.

Cross is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nelson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cross is looking to defend but Nelson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cross! Nelson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cross taps out and this one is all over!
