Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Opihi Jimmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by "Stay Strapped" by Young Jeezy. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Opihi Jimmy enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimmy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jimmy moves out of range as Johnson strikes.
Jimmy swinging wilding here.
Jimmy lands a jab to the nose.
Jimmy misses with a few strikes there.
Jimmy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jimmy off to one side.
Johnson throws a wild body kick that Jimmy sees coming a mile off.
Johnson cracks Jimmy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Opihi Jimmy has been cut.
Jimmy throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Johnson drives through and clinches with Jimmy against the cage.
Johnson managing to block the knees to the body from Jimmy.
Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Johnson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
Johnson looks to land a body kick but Jimmy moved away.
Jimmy throws a leg kick but Johnson checks it.
Johnson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Jimmy is trying to escape the position but Johnson is controlling the position.

Johnson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jimmy dodges the ground and pound from Johnson.
Jimmy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Johnson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jimmy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Johnson trying to control the action but Jimmy is working from the bottom.
Johnson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jimmy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Johnson tries to advance to mount but Jimmy denies him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Johnson goes for an armbar but Jimmy turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jimmy.

Jimmy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Johnson is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Jimmy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jimmy is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Jimmy circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for Jimmy on that attempt.
Jimmy shoots and misses
and Johnson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jimmy's knee momentarily.
Johnson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Johnson instigates a clinch.
Jimmy stops a takedown attempt from Johnson.
Johnson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Opihi Jimmy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Johnson.
Johnson has an Americana. Jimmy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Johnson is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Johnson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
