The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stephens doesn't manage to clinch there - Terry circles away.
Terry moves out of range of the body kick.

Terry gets caught flat footed, as Stephens shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Stephens missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stephens slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Terry is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

It looks like Nick Terry has been cut.
Stephens has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
An elbow from Stephens crashes against the mat.
Stephens passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Terry!
Terry is looking to improve his position but Stephens isn't that keen on the idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stephens is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Terry goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Stephens!
