Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tracy Powell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Goless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goless has chosen Hell Above Water - by Curve as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robbie Goless!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goless misses with a double jab
and Powell counters with a nice body kick.
Goless blocks a head kick by Powell.
Goless throws a series of punches but Powell avoids them all with ease.
Goless looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Powell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Goless counters with a shoot takedown. Powell fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Powell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Goless parries the strikes from Powell easily there. Powell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Goless to escape.

Powell is fighting to break Goless's control of his arms but Goless is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Our spies down at at Cozad MMA New York inform us that Goless has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Well Goless has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
