Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tekito Tumoko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendes has chosen Steve McQueen as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tumoko is looking to clinch but Mendes is avoiding it.

and Mendes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mendes lands a head shot.
Mendes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mendes throws out a powerful jab.
Tumoko moves in looking to clinch but Mendes pushes him off.

and Mendes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Mendes works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Mendes counters with a head kick. That will keep Tumoko thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
The fight stays on the outside here - Tumoko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mendes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Mendes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mendes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Donk. Mendes catches Tumoko right on the button with a cross.
Tumoko closes the distance but Mendes moves to the side
and Mendes counters with a nice body shot.
Mendes connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tumoko. Tumoko circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Tumoko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mendes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tumoko scrambles back to his feet.
Mendes scores with a hook to the body. Tumoko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mendes scores with a jab. Tumoko acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Mendes cracks Tumoko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mendes rushes Tumoko with punches - Tumoko moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Tumoko goes down! Mendes follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
