Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Misiek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasilko Nikolaevich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Misiek might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to El Picante. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Misiek circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nikolaevich moves forwards but Misiek connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Misiek scores with a nice head shot.
Nikolaevich throws a poor cross that misses
and Misiek counters with a big head kick but Nikolaevich shrugs it off.
Misiek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nikolaevich circles away.
Rafael Misiek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Misiek is looking to slow Nikolaevich down with leg kicks.
Nikolaevich tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Nikolaevich pushes Misiek away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Misiek gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Nikolaevich is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nikolaevich tries to kick Misiek off but Misiek keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Misiek is keen to just control but Nikolaevich is a slippery customer.

Misiek wants to take a breather but Nikolaevich is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Misiek takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Nikolaevich told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Misiek prevents Nikolaevich from standing back up.
Misiek stalling away here and it's allowed Nikolaevich to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Nikolaevich has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Misiek can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Misiek is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Nikolaevich feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Misieks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Misiek shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nikolaevich pinned against the cage. Nikolaevich gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Misiek throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nikolaevich.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rafael Misiek will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nikolaevich is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Misiek feints a jab and as Nikolaevich dips his head, Misiek unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Nikolaevich right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Nikolaevich falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Misiek smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Rafael Misiek!
Our winner, Rafael Misiek, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
