The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lewis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
White gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and White takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Dana White has been cut.
Donk. Lewis catches White right on the button with a cross.
White takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lewis catches White napping and connects with a big right hand that sends White to the canvas!
White is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Oh White is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lewis gets to his feet. White looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
White seems to have got his legs back now.
Lewis cracks White with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! White falls to his knees and Lewis doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
