PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Men Tor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bond comes to the cage accompanied by The Jimmy Bond Theme.... We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimmy Bond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Men Tor!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tor lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bond will feel that in the morning.
Tor stuffs the takedown attempt from Bond. Bond gets slowly back to his feet.
Bond takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bond tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tor defends well and Bond ends up having to push Tor into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tor tries to circle away but Bond has him pinned against the cage.
Tor is looking to break free of the clinch but Bond has double underhooks.

Tor is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bond is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tor to the mat. Tor regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bond trying to control the position from guard on top but Tor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bond looking to pass the guard.
Bond passes Tor's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tor is trying to stand back up but Bond is controlling him
Bond passes the guard and advances to mount!
Tor is controlling an arm, preventing Bond from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Bond is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Tor is surviving well by controlling Bond's body position as best he can.

Bond looking to secure an arm triangle but Tor defends it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bond wants to finish this one by submission but Tor is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bond.

Tor is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Bond locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Tor is forced to tap!
