The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mooney closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Meier has Mooney pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Meier pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mooney tumbling to the mat - Meier dives into Mooney's guard.
Meier looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Meier decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mooney shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Meier manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Meier is trying to keep Mooney in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mooney is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Meier has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mooney is looking to defend but Meier has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mooney! Meier pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mooney taps out and this one is all over!
