Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Magician Rapist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamont Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins has chosen U-GOD Feat.Method Man-Wu-Tang as his entrance music. Magician Rapist is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Magician Rapist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lamont Hawkins!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rapist takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hawkins has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Rapist pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rapist looks to land a right hand but Hawkins moved out of range.
Rapist scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hawkins shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rapist eats them both and turns towards Hawkins to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Rapist throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hawkins misses with a hook.
Rapist shoots in for a takedown but Hawkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rapist looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Rapist rushes Hawkins and presses him up against the cage.
Rapist has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hawkins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

I was talking to Rapist's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Hawkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rapist lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hawkins's sensitive parts.
Rapist shoots for a double leg takedown but Hawkins sprawls well. He's pushed Rapist's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rapist closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hawkins's guard.

Hawkins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rapist defends well.

Rapist creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hawkins sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Rapist seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hawkins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hawkins holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hawkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rapist moves away.

Rapist clobbers Hawkins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rapist misses with a low kick.
Hawkins throws the kick towards the body but Rapist avoids it.
Rapist swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hawkins connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rapist goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Some bone on bone action there as Rapist checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

That was a close second round but I would say that Magician Rapist will probably get the nod.

Lamont Hawkins decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
