Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Munch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Collins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Irish Rebel Song. John Munch will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Max Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Munch closes the distance and pushes Collins back into the cage.

Collins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Munch doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Collins.
Collins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Collins is stalling here. Munch is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Collins seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Munch has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Munch works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Munch decides to stand up, so the ref orders Collins to his feet.
Munch with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Munch throws a push kick but Collins slaps the foot to one side.
Collins lands a nice hook to Munch's body. Munch takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Munch closes this distance looking for a takedown but Collins circles away.

Collins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Munch manages to avoid it.
Munch lands a nice leg kick that just misses Collins's sensitive parts.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Munch shoots in for a double leg but Collins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
