Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kofi Amankwah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Weston Christiansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kofi Amankwah looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christiansen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Christiansen wants it to stay on the feet.

Amankwah gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Christiansen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Amankwah doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Amankwah manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Christiansen manages to get himself to full guard.

Amankwah wants to get up but he can't break Christiansen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Christiansen is trying to trip Amankwah. He has hold of a leg but Amankwah is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Christiansen persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Amankwah had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Christiansen defends it easily.
Amankwah has momentary wrist control but Christiansen slips an elbow through the middle.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Christiansen looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Amankwah can't hide his disappointment, as Christiansen celebrates the victory.
