Gilas comes to the cage accompanied by Remember The Name - Fort Minor. Bailey has chosen Grim Reaper Song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harley Bailey!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey lunges at Gilas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gilas's hand.
Bailey pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bailey misses with a low kick as Gilas jumps back.

Gilas gets tackled into the cage by Bailey. Bailey maintains the clinch.
Bailey misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gilas.
Gilas blocks an elbow strike.

Bailey avoiding damage as Gilas throws knees to the body.
Gilas tries to circle away but Bailey has him pinned against the cage.
Bailey is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gilas is defending well for now.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gilas.
Gilas wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gilas wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Gilas has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bailey clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
I would not like to be Bailey right now.
Bailey is trying to get back to his feet but Gilas has full control of the position and if anything, Bailey has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Bailey felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Gilas tries to keep control of the position but Bailey is staying busy.
Gilas lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Gilas scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Bailey is looking for a way out.

Bailey covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Bailey is still in real trouble! Can Gilas finish him?
I would not like to be Bailey right now.
Gilas is raining down hard shots and and Bailey has had enough - he's tapped out due to the strikes!

An out of breath Mark Gilas thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
The defeated Harley Bailey had this to say: 'No shame in losing, I fought a great guy and I knew its gonna be a test to stop those takedowns. Back to the drawing board for me. Thanks PSYCHO KIDS for having me'.
