Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dj Harrington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Sin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sin has chosen Lee Sin - By Riot as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dj Harrington!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lee Sin!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sin misses with an uppercut. Harrington saw that one coming.
Lee Sin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harrington uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sin.
Sin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Harrington gets a double leg takedown into Sin's guard.
Harrington postures up.
Sin has control of Harrington's left arm, preventing Harrington from doing any damage.
Sin trying to keep a closed guard but Harrington is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harrington wants to pass the guard but Sin is keeping the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sin wants to control the position but Harrington says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Harrington looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Harrington is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sin is just riding it out for now. Harrington eventually gives up the hold.

Harrington is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sin has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sin wants to control but Harrington is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Harrington wants to pass the guard but Sin is defending well.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harrington is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Harrington shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Harrington wants to take a breather but Sin is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sin is looking for a sweep. Harrington is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sin works his way to full guard. Good work.
Harrington trying to control but Sin is working from the bottom.
Sin has control of Harrington's left arm, preventing Harrington from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harrington doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harrington manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Harrington is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Sin working for submissions but it's allowed Harrington to get to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Harrington is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sin sees it coming and defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dj Harrington dominated that round.
That's time! Harrington's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Harrington shoots in looking for a takedown. Sin tries to sprawl out of it but Harrington keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Harrington with that takedown attempt.
Harrington's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Harrington scrambles back to his feet.
Sin stuffs the takedown attempt from Harrington. Harrington gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dj Harrington. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sin throws a quick inside leg kick.
Harrington moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Harrington fails to land the takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sin is looking to chop away at Harrington's legs.
Sin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sin jabs Harrington to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Harrington tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harrington somewhat.
Sin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Harrington is out of range.
Sin cracks the inside of Harrington's front leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sin throws a body punch but Harrington moves out of range.
Sin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Harrington dives in and grabs Sin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sin pushes down on Harrington's head and hops out.
Harrington misses the jab.
Dj Harrington is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Harrington misses with a takedown attempt - Sin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sin jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
No luck for Harrington with that takedown attempt.

Harrington bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sin can't do much from the bottom here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Harrington wants to stand but Sin has his arm trapped.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Harrington shoots and misses

and Sin counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Harrington has his foot on Sin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sin works his way back into a safe position though.

Harrington has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrington swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sin chips away with some ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sin trying to control but Harrington is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee Sin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Harrington takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sin, right into the meat.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sin.
Sin connects with an inside leg kick.
Harrington tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Harrington will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sin scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sin forces Harrington back against the cage and clinches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Harrington.

Harrington tightens his grip and picks Sin up, before dumping him to the ground. Sin manages to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sin is trying to keep Harrington in close.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sin has his hands on Harrington's head, controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harrington manages to get himself to full guard.

Sin looking to sit in guard and control but Harrington gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Sin has a closed guard, preventing Harrington from standing up.
Harrington trying to control but Sin is working from the bottom.
Sin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harrington wants to control from the top but Sin keeps moving.
Sin pulls Harrington in close to prevent any damage.
Sin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Harrington stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Harrington drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harrington jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sin doesn't manage to clinch there - Harrington circles away.
Sin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Harrington.
Harrington slips a jab from Sin.
Sin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Harrington.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sin, right into the meat.
Sin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sin throws out a leg kick but Harrington moves out of range and Sin only half commits.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Harrington shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sin defends it nicely.
Harrington shoots in and drives through. Sin sprawls well.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lee Sin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
