PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boyd Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Taddow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lowe comes into the arena with millon dollar driver blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taddow throws a sloppy head kick and Lowe moves out of range easily.
Lowe walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Boyd Lowe has been cut.
Lowe has a takedown stuffed.

Taddow drives through and clinches with Lowe against the cage.
Taddow wants to take the fight to the mat but Lowe manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Taddow has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lowe after a bit of a struggle.
Taddow tries to break the clinch but Lowe is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Taddow rushes Lowe and presses him up against the cage.

Lowe drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Taddow has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lowe is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Taddow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Taddow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lowe sprawls well. Lowe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Taddow gets slowly back to his feet.
Boyd Lowe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Taddow.
Lowe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Taddow lands with a nice combination. Lowe backs away looking to recover.

Tim Taddow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Taddow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lowe throws a right hand that Taddow ducks under and follows up with a left that Taddow also avoids with ease.

Taddow has closed the distance and engaged Lowe in a clinch.

Taddow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Taddow cracks Lowe with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lowe avoids the head kick by Taddow.
Taddow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lowe circles away quickly and effectively.
Taddow throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lowe on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Taddow feints and then cracks Lowe's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lowe down.
Lowe has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Taddow Throws a clean left jab. Taddow Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Lowe's chin! Lowe crumbles to the ground and Taddow follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Taddow!
