Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Feraru Georgian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Voti Formie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Georgian moves into the clinch successfully.

Formie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Feraru Georgian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Voti Formie.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Georgian has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Formie uses from the top position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Formie drops back looking for a leg! Georgian is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Georgian manages to kick Formie off! Formie jumps back into Georgian's guard.

Georgian is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Formie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Georgian makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Formie goes for a double leg but Georgian avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Georgian continues to drive forward.

Formie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Georgian avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Formie has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Georgian regains guard immediately.

Formie drops back looking for a leg! Georgian is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Georgian manages to kick Formie off! Formie jumps back into Georgian's guard.

Georgian tries to improve position but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Feraru Georgian dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Georgian shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Formie as he avoids it easily.

Georgian would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Georgian has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Georgian throws an elbow that misses. Formie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Georgian's guard. Nice move by Formie!

Formie passes Georgian's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Formie is looking for a kimura but Georgian is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Formie to get the leverage.

Formie in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Georgian tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Formie!
