The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balotelli throws a head kick that misses.
Balotelli ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Balotelli lands a leg kick that knocks Gracie off balance momentarily.
Balotelli moves out of range of the strikes.
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Balotelli.
Balotelli looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Balotelli sprawls well. Balotelli wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.

Balotelli lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Balotelli takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gracie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Balotelli can pounce on him.
A slapping leg kick lands for Balotelli.
Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Balotelli sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gracie seems to have got his legs back now.
Balotelli connects with an inside leg kick.
Rype Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Balotelli looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Gracie throws a hook to the side of Balotelli's head but Balotelli sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Balotelli throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Balotelli pushes him off.
A bone on bone clash there as Gracie blocks the leg kick.
Balotelli is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Balotelli fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gracie throws out a loose jab but Balotelli uses good head movement to avoid it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Balotelli. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Gracie loads up on a big right hand but Balotelli slips the punch.
