Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields shoots for a takedown but Black saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Shields shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Black as he jumps to the side.
Shields moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off.
Shields misses with a takedown attempt - Black sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Shields. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Black feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Black works over Shields with some ground and pound from guard.

Black is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shields defends it well.

Black is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Shields has managed to free his arm - good work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Black has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shields to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Black is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shields pulls down on the head and he's put Black to sleep! This one is all over!
