Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Romero Romeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ezequiel Calderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calderon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "One Rhythm (Da Yard Riddim Mix)" by Debi Nova kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ezequiel Calderon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ezequiel Calderon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romeo moves into the clinch.
Calderon is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Romeo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Romeo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Romeo stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Romeo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Calderon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Romeo is looking for the choke from the back position but Calderon is controlling his hands well.
Romeo is riding his opponent, not letting Calderon buck him off.
Calderon is trying to get back to his feet but Romeo has full control of the position and if anything, Calderon has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Romeo is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Calderon is defending well though. Romeo let's go of the attempt for now.
Calderon is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Romeo gets his way!
Romeo sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Calderon taps out!
