The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington doesn't manage to clinch there - Diz circles away.
Some wild striking there from Diz.
Washington tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Washington closes the distance and clinches.
Washington lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Nice body punch from Washington - that landed with a thud.

Diz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Washington walks away with a smile on his face. Diz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Oh Diz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Washington creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Diz with a big uppercut! Diz tries to clinch up but Washington pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Diz to the mat! Diz covers up and Washington unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
