The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Willams closes the distance and clinches.
Willams tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Willams connects with a knee to the head.

Spencer tries for a takedown but Willams manages to get underhooks.
Willams with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Willams is pressed up against the cage. Spencer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Willams down to the mat. Willams avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Willams feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Spencers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Willams with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Willams looking to throw knees to the head but Spencer is blocking nicely.
Willams is pressed up against the cage. Spencer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Willams down to the mat. Willams avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cray Willams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Spencer.

Spencer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Willams fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Willams! Spencer is out on his feet! Willams rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Spencer is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Spencer is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
