Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rosco Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ares has chosen Battle cry as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rosco Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikey Ares!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ares showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Boy.
Boy throws a right hand that Ares ducks under and follows up with a left that Ares also avoids with ease.
Boy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ares eats them both and turns towards Boy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Boy misses with the combination.
Boy lands the left hand.
Boy takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Boy gets caught flat footed, as Ares shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Boy wants to get back to his feet but Ares is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ares content to stall in guard here.
Boy is looking to stand up but Ares isn't so interested in that idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ares is working Boy over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ares advances position into side control!
Ares taking a breather here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ares prevents Boy from escaping the position.
A lull in the action here.
Boy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ares asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ares stands up and beckons Boy to his feet.

Boy misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ares shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ares showed some decent athleticism there.
Ares stops Boy from getting back to his feet.
Boy has hold of Ares's hands but Ares slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Ares looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ares performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Boy pushes Ares off but Ares dives into side control.

Ares staying calm.

Ares has an Americana. Boy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ares is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ares hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

After winning the bout, Mikey Ares thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
