David comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Who - Baba O'Riley kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Per Djevelsson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David throws a leg kick but Djevelsson sees it coming and moves out of range.
David scores with a jab. Djevelsson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
David throws a low kick but Djevelsson avoids it.
Djevelsson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
David jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
David throws a leg kick that misses.
David misses with a head kick.
David lands a jab-cross combination.

David avoids the body shot from Djevelsson.
Craig David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

David drops his hands momentarily and Djevelsson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Craig David is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
David takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Djevelsson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from David.
Djevelsson slips under a jab from David.
Djevelsson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at NexGen Fight Team in the buildup to the fight.
David lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice uppercut there from Djevelsson.
Djevelsson moves out of range of the body kick from David.
David throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
David shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

and David counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

David has closed the distance and engaged Djevelsson in a clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
David is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Djevelsson wants to control from the top but David keeps moving.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Djevelsson throws a body shot but no joy.
Djevelsson wants to clinch up but David keeps it at a distance.
David dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Djevelsson. That did some damage!
David takes one to the side of the head.
David moves in looking to clinch but Djevelsson pushes him off.

Djevelsson throws a combination. David tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

David is rocked!
No joy there for Djevelsson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
David tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Craig David dominated that round.
That's time! Djevelsson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

David gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Djevelsson counters with a huge left! David is in big trouble! He's backing up but Djevelsson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save David from any more damage. A dominating finish by Djevelsson!
