Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bleh Wha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cosmo Carboni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wha's entrance music is Super Bon Bon - Soul Coughing. A fine choice. Cosmo Carboni told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bleh Wha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cosmo Carboni!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carboni is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bleh Wha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wha comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Wha throws a jab when Carboni was well out of range.
Carboni loads up on a big right hand but Wha slips the punch.

Wha moves into range and clinches up with Carboni.
Wha lands a left hand.
A nice left hand lands by Wha.
Wha lands an uppercut.


It looks like Cosmo Carboni has been cut.
Carboni tries to break the clinch but Wha is controlling the position.
The referee is keeping an eye on Wha - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Carboni looking to stall.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wha takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Wha lands with a short shot to the head.
A right hand to the body from Wha.
Wha connects with a knee to the head.
Wha scores with a hook to the body.

Wha stalling against the cage.
Carboni wants to break the clinch but can't.

Wha's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carboni has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Wha shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Carboni eats them both and turns towards Wha to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Wha throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carboni stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Carboni takes a body punch but keeps moving.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wha falls off balance throwing a combination
and Carboni counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carboni throws a right hand that Wha ducks under and follows up with a left that Wha also avoids with ease.
Wha lands a nice looking body shot.

Wha closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wha lands a right hand.
Wha lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A short left from Wha.


That has opened up Cosmo Carboni's cut even more.
Wha scores with a knee to the head.
Wha works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Wha manages to break the clinch.
Wha connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Carboni's hands.
Carboni lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Wha looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Wha looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Wha gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Wha obliges.

Wha lands with a nice body punch.
Carboni gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carboni has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wha.
Wha throws a right hand that Carboni ducks under and follows up with a left that Carboni also avoids with ease.

Wha cracks Carboni with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Carboni looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Wha finish him?


The cut above Cosmo Carboni's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wha throws a series of punches but Carboni avoids them all with ease.
Carboni takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Are you kidding me?! Wha ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Carboni clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bleh Wha!
