The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayo feints a jab promting Taylor to slip. Mayo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Taylor slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Taylor throws a sloppy head kick
and Mayo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Taylor is looking to clinch.
Taylor tries to clinch but Mayo moves out of range.
Taylor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mayo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Taylor somewhat.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mayo as he jumps to the side.

Taylor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mayo's waist but Mayo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Taylor off to one side.

Mayo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Taylor's guard.
Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mayo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
